Hello, my fellow mind geeks! Today I will introduce you to one of my favorite puzzles, which I had to program when I was a student, the Tower of Hanoi. I have solve this game so many times and I still like it as much as the first time I tried itš. Even today, if you go into my office space you will see the Hanoi puzzle at my office desk.
As you can see in the image below, the game consists of three rods and a number of disks of different sizes, which can slide onto any rod (the disks can be more than 3 also). The puzzle starts with the disks in a neat stack in ascending order of size on one rod (we do not care which rod), with the smallest at the top, thus making a conical shape.
The Purpose of the game is to increase your problem-solving skills, as you need to define a strategy to reach the desired outcome.
Time required is define by calculating the right moves to reach the solutions in the shortest possible time.
THE EXERCISE IN ACTION:

Rules: Well this lovely game has rules guys & gals! So here we go:
āNo disk may be placed on top of a smaller disk.
Each move consists of taking the upper disk from one of the stacks and placing it on top of another stack.
Only one disk can be moved at a time.
Benefits of the game:
Managing your time.
Developing the strategy involves analysis of the actions and goal to be reached, as well as any constraints that may block attainment of the goal.
We learn to evaluate obstacles and choose among methods for evaluating various decision paths, and compare the effects and trade-offs of each possible move.
Sometimes, solutions to problems are readily available but we have to figure out a winning strategy and specific action steps ourselves.
Thatās it for today guys. Have a beautiful day or night!
In the mind time,
āRemember, we are all unique!ā

*See you next Thursday at 9pm!
