Hello my fellows! This is my first article and I’ve decided to start this blog a bit different from what I first planned. I will not say much, I just want you to see the following video and tell me how you feel. The truth is, this video made me feel sad, heartbroken and a bit pessimistic to say the least.

I was thinking… What if we were using our brain more and not simply comply with what our society says that we should and shouldn’t do? What if we all had a different school system?

You know, Finland has the best school system in the world according to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). And you know why? The students in Finland they spend only 2.8 hours per week on homework as teachers prefer students to be happy and live their childhood as well as they can. And do you know how children’s do that? Simply, by playing outside, exploring and by using their brain as well as they can.

A very famous filmmaker Michael Moore made a magnificent education documentary for Finland Education and I definitely recommend it!!! Now this makes me wonder why only few countries they have changed their school system, as the “education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” as Nelson Mandela said.

How would our world be if we were taught differently? To use in some way, all parts of our brain. How would that by itself could affect our society? Could have we be, all in all, living in a better world?

Now please see the following pictures where famous artists as Jeff Stahler, Dan Pirano etc. successfully managed to show how we behave. And this is true guys and gals! You know technology has changed the way we communicate the way we share information.

Most of the kids, teens are addicted to the internet. I think kids today view the Internet as a toy, which is good for now but what, will happen after 20 years when robots will be the future? What will happen with their creativity or on their brain development if they start using robots the same way we are using Internet or Google?

A study by McKinsey & Company (2017) found that about 30% of tasks in 60% of occupations could be computerized and last year, the Bank of England’s chief economist said that 80 million US and 15 million UK jobs might be taken over by robots.

It makes me wonder…Are we really, truly connected with the people that surrounds us or are we a bunch of strangers that frequently interact with each other through a mobile-device? This made me question myself…Again! If this is happening truly the case, what happens to our brain, to our creativity our unique skills? Do we, unknowingly, kill the things that makes us unique?

Having read the last few paragraphs.. How do you feel? Do you have the same feelings as I do after watching the video and looking at the pictures? Having all these feelings for several years, simply threw observation alone, it urged me to try and do something to help as many people as I can, to make them see the beauty of the human brain through my eyes.

What I want out of this blog is to simply show you all the benefits one can gain through exploring the vastness of what we call Human Brain. So please, be kind to me as I introduce you to the “Mind Exploration” blog.

That’s it for today guys. Have a beautiful day or night!

In the mind time,

“Remember, we are all unique!”

*See you next Thursday at 9pm!
