Hello my fellow mind geeks! We are in 2021 and still, to this day, there are so many unanswered questions surrounding the brain. Consider this: There are 7,844,719,650 million people on planet earth and we are all unique! Isn’t that mind-blowing? (pun intended! 😊)
Nowadays, many people know all the different electronic components of a computer. They know how a computer works, how to build a computer brain etc. If you study a bit on this topic, you will come to the realization, that you can actually buy the electronic components needed and with the help of your programming knowledge, you will be able to create your own computer.
It is a well-known fact that for a computer to be unique, it needs an IP Address and a MAC Address. This is done to transfer or receive data from your computer to another even if the other computer is in another country.

On the other hand, a human brain is not a DIY project or something you can buy of a store. A human brain cannot be programmed nor does it have an IP address and/or a MAC address.
However, very few people realize how little we know about the human brain as it is the central for our existence, and how much this research is truly delving into the unknown according to Dr. Thomas Insel, the Director of the National Institute of Mental Health, who gave a talk on the topic at Smithsonian magazine's "The Future is Here" festival.
I woke up today wanting to have an out of the ordinary day! I woke up wanting to learn what it takes for a person to be unique! Personally, I believe that our personality is the most significant variable contributing to the uniqueness in each of us. But first, let me elaborate on the aforementioned statement.
I am a strong believer that our thoughts, wellness, memory and consciousness are the four main variables that truly forms us into who we are.
The human brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves make up a complex, integrated information processing and control system known as Central Nervous System (CNS).
Even though we are in 2017 many neuroscientist and researchers agree that the human nervous system is based on biological, chemical and physiological foundation but the influence of the brain and its anatomical architecture on function and behavior is highly controversial (Kalat 2013).
There is a major debate regarding genetics and the role of the nervous system in the development and change of personality (Kalat 2013; Vukasović & Bratko. 2015; Johnson, Vernon & Feiler. 2008).

Did you know that the construction of the nervous system begins in the embryo at about 2 weeks of age? According to Kalat 2013, during the construction of the central nervous system after the first 2 weeks of pregnancy, the dorsal begins to thicken, which eventually separates.
Through the construction of the human nervous system in early development, the neurons stars to develop in our brain. If this is true, then our personality starts its formation from that very moment as our brain.
Having this in mind, I would say that it is our nervous system that initiates our personality formation and then follows our environment. It is the never-ending debate of the Nature vs. Nurture concept? What does it mean that the egg and the sperm have some genetics materials that affect our personality? Maybe something to look upon in our next article?
Food for thought.
That’s it for today guys. Have a beautiful day or night!
In the mind time,
“Remember, we are all unique!”
